You want someone who wants you to live the best life you can, who wants to see you succeed.
I am loathe to use the word "treat" as it implies that I "do" something. The best word I have found is to "interact" with in a certain way. So for the following if you want to replace the word "interact/interaction" with the word "treat/treatment then please feel free. It may help your understanding.
We interact with the Client, not the disease....If a practitioner is limited to “interacting with” the disease label and the interaction is not going well then they feel they have no option than to abandon the particular interaction and try something else. Healing then appears to be a hit & miss business, where a miss is about as good as a mile!
When interaction allows the practitioner to address the totality of the life, signs and symptoms regardless of the “disease” then there is opportunity for adjustment within the modality that can bring health back into play again. Much medical treatment (drugs, surgery, and invasive investigative procedures) are radical in the smallest of instances, often rendering more risk to the client than the actual disease that is being treated.
Thinking people want to be well...and remain well. At the very least when something challenges their lives and health, they want effective resolution and restoration of health and well-being.
In my reading recently I came across a statement that says...”if a modality is capable of getting a person well, then it is capable of keeping a person well.” We cannot say this of drugs - they just treat a symptom and do not get to the root of the individuals issue/s. Symptoms indicate that there is an imbalance somewhere in the organism....and to be effective that imbalance or imbalances need to be addresses. With the modalities and understandings I have, our objectives are
1. Treat the cause of an existing condition.
2. Prevent an existing condition from worsening.
3. Prevent vague symptoms from developing into a fully blown condition.
4. To maintain good health, even if you have a condition.
5. That our sessions do no harm.
We balance the body, so it can be effective in its natural role to heal the body. This balancing allows the restoration of blood, energy and nutrient flow to the areas that are compromised. In doing this the condition is arrested, as healing begins. As with many of us there is never just ONE thing going on at any one time, so as the body rebalances things that we are not aware of, or maybe just a niggle are able to be addressed and the journey continues onto one of maintaining health. Due to having regular maintenance sessions any other symptoms that may appear can be quickly addressed and the body is able to maintain homeostasis.
The body can heal itself at a fantastic rate. We do not have to make the body heal...we need to look at the things that are distracting, or restricting this ability and bring its attention back to the ability and resources it has to heal. As we look for these distractions and restrictions we are actually not just acknowledging surface aspects, but the deeper levels of understandings and therefore we affect deeper levels of balancing, which allow the body more rapid, lasting and effective healing.
Just as there was a journey to unwellness, wellness is a journey, so patience is good as the energy fields are balanced to restore the blood flow, so health can be restored.
Every client is special, is an individual and deserves undivided time and attention, to all details of their wellbeing. Your health is precious...as is your life – give yourself the gift of time and opportunity to heal, with the support of an open-minded and compassionate interactive practitioner.
